राहुल गांधी ने 17 मई का विदेश मंत्री जयशंकर का एक वीडियो शेयर किया जिसमें उन्होंने कहा कि ऑपरेशन की शुरुआत में हमने पाकिस्तान को संदेश भेजा था कि हम बुनियादी ढांचे पर हमला कर रहे हैं और हम सेना पर हमला नहीं कर रहे हैं, इसलिए सेना के पास इस प्रक्रिया में हस्तक्षेप न करने का विकल्प है।
लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी ने सोमवार को विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर पर फिर से सवाल उठाए और आरोप लगाया कि ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के दौरान भारतीय वायुसेना ने कितने विमान खोए, इस पर वे चुप हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि देश को सच्चाई जानने का हक है। राहुल गांधी ने एक्स पर लिखा, “विदेश मंत्री जयशंकर की चुप्पी सिर्फ़ बयानबाजी नहीं है, बल्कि यह निंदनीय है। इसलिए मैं फिर से पूछूंगा: हमने कितने भारतीय विमान खो दिए, क्योंकि पाकिस्तान को पता था? यह कोई चूक नहीं थी। यह एक अपराध था। और देश को सच्चाई जानने का हक है।”

खेड़ा ने कहा कि सेनाएं बहादुरी से सीमाओं पर अपना काम करती हैं, तो युद्ध में बहुत अहम् भूमिका उन रणनीतिकारों की भी होती है जो राजधानी में बैठे होते हैं। इन तमाम लोगों की भूमिका बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होती है। जो सेना के पराक्रम को या तो बूस्ट कर सकती है या सेना के पराक्रम को नुकसान पहुंचा सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे नेता राहुल गांधी जी ने विदेश मंत्री के बयान पर कुछ सवाल पूछे हैं। यह बहुत महत्वपूर्ण इसलिए हो जाता है, क्योंकि पिछले एक हफ्ते में अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप अलग-अलग देशों में एक बात दोहराते रहे कि उन्होंने युद्ध रुकवाने में मध्यस्थता की।
उन्होंने आगे दावा किया कि विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर जी ने ख़ुद मीडिया एजेंसियों को बताया कि हमने हमला करने से पहले पाकिस्तान को सूचित कर दिया था। खेड़ा ने सवाल किया कि अब ये सूचित करने का क्या मतलब होता है? विदेश मंत्री जी को पाकिस्तान पर इतना भरोसा है कि उनके कहने पर आतंकी चुपचाप बैठेंगे? विदेश मंत्री जी का क्या रिश्ता है और उन्होंने हमले से पहले पाकिस्तान को क्यों बताया? दरअसल, इसे कूटनीति नहीं बल्कि मुखबिरी कहा जाता है। विदेश मंत्री ने जो बोला उसे सबने सुना- फिर भी इसपर लीपापोती की जा रही है। क्या इसी मुखबिरी की वजह से मसूद अज़हर ज़िंदा बच गया और हाफिज सईद ज़िंदा भाग गया?
