आज उपराष्ट्रपति के एन्क्लेव में राज्यसभा इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम-चरण 7 के उद्घाटन सत्र में, उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर को लेकर बड़ा बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि हाल ही में हुए ऑपरेशन सिंदूर ने हमारी मानसिकता को बड़े पैमाने पर बदल दिया है। हम पहले से कहीं अधिक राष्ट्रवादी हैं। और यह हमारे शांति के संदेश और आतंकवाद के प्रति हमारी पूर्ण असहिष्णुता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विदेश गए प्रतिनिधिमंडलों में सभी राजनीतिक परिदृश्यों की भागीदारी में परिलक्षित होता है। और इसलिए, हाल की घटनाओं को देखते हुए, हमारे पास कोई विकल्प नहीं है।

धनखड़ ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और आर्थिक प्रगति के मुद्दों पर, सभी गुटों को राष्ट्रीय हित को दलीय प्राथमिकताओं से ऊपर रखना चाहिए। मैं राजनीतिक स्पेक्ट्रम में सभी से गंभीरता से विचार करने और इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचने की अपील करूंगा कि आंतरिक सुरक्षा और विकास के मुद्दों पर आम सहमति होनी चाहिए। कभी-कभी राजनीति राष्ट्रवाद और सुरक्षा के लिए बहुत गर्म हो जाती है। यह ऐसी चीज है जिस पर हमें काबू पाना होगा।
