Kusum । May 9 2025 5:53PM नाम हेमू अधिकारी साल 2003 में निधन हो गया था। उन्होंने अपने करियर में 21 टेस्ट मैच खेले, जिनमें उन्होंने 872 रन बनाए थे। बल्लेबाजी करते हुए उनके बल्ले से एक शतक और 4 फिफ्टी निकलीं। हेमू दाएं हाथ से लेग स्पिन गेंदबाजी भी किया करते थे और अपने छोटे से बॉलिंग करियर में उन्होंने 3 विकेट भी लिए।

पिछले 75 सालों से पाकिस्तान ने किसी ना किसी कारण से भारत को परेशान किया है। पड़ोसी मुल्क की ओर से किए गए लगातार आतंकी हमलों से भारत की जमीन कई बार दहली है। दोनों देशों के बीच तीन युद्ध भी हुए। जहां भारत की विजय हुई जबकि पाकिस्तान को तीनों बार मुंह की खानी पड़ी। पिछले कुछ दिनों से भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच तनाव बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। इंडियन फोर्स ने सरहद पार से हुए कई हमलों को नाकाम किया है। इस कारण दुनिया की सबसे महंगी क्रिकेट लीग आईपीएल का 18वां सीजन बीच में ही स्थगित करना पड़ा। सरहद पर भारतीय जवान दुष्मनों से देश की रक्षा करते हैं जबकि क्रिकेटर्स क्रिकेट के मैदान पर विपक्षी टीमों को हराकर देश का नाम रोशन करते हैं। लेकिन अब हम आपको अपनी इस रिपोर्ट में एक ऐसे खिलाड़ी के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं जिसने युद्ध लड़ने के लिए अपना क्रिकेट डेब्यू ही छोड़ दिया।

ये बात हैं 1940 के दशक की, जब दूसरे वर्ल्ड कप के शुरू होने से पहले ही हेमू अधिकारी क्रिकेट जगत में अच्छी पहचान बना चुके थे। लेकिन जब अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर टेस्ट डेब्यू करने की बात आई तो उन्होंने इस सुनहरे मौके को छोड़ भारतीय आर्मी के साथ जुड़ कर देश सेवा को सर्वोपरि माना था। बता दें कि, साल 1947 में उन्हें लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल के पद से सम्मानित किया गया था। 

हेमू अधिकारी ने 1947 ने 1947 में अपना डेब्यू किया था और कुछ मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स अनुसार डेब्यू के बावजूद उन्होंने भारतीय सेना में अपनी सेवाएं देनी जारी रखी थीं। वो पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ भी एक यादगार पारी खेल चुके हैं। 1952 में उन्होंने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ मैच में नाबाद 81 रन बनाए और 10वें विकेट के लिए गुलाम अहमद के साथ रिकॉर्ड 109 रनों की पार्टनरशिप की थी।
