रेड्डी ने जोर देकर कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री एन चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने कथित तौर पर भ्रष्टाचार, टूटे वादों और माफिया के जाल के जरिए राजनीति को उसके सबसे निचले स्तर पर पहुंचा दिया है और लोग उन्हें कभी भी सत्ता में वापस नहीं लाएंगे।
वाईएसआरसीपी प्रमुख वाई एस जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने घोषणा की है कि पार्टी अगले साल अपनी पूर्ण बैठक भव्य और ऊर्जावान तरीके से आयोजित करेगी। रेड्डी ने जोर देकर कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री एन चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने कथित तौर पर भ्रष्टाचार, टूटे वादों और माफिया के जाल के जरिए राजनीति को उसके सबसे निचले स्तर पर पहुंचा दिया है और लोग उन्हें कभी भी सत्ता में वापस नहीं लाएंगे। रेड्डी ने बुधवार को एक विज्ञप्ति में कहा, “हम अगले साल एक भव्य अधिवेशन आयोजित करेंगे क्योंकि लोगों ने चंद्रबाबू के झूठ और भ्रष्टाचार को देख लिया है और वे उनके असफल शासन के लिए उन्हें अस्वीकार कर देंगे।”
पूर्व सीएम ने पार्टी नेताओं से अपने-अपने जिलों में कड़ी मेहनत करने, कार्यकर्ताओं से जुड़ने और सरकार के अधूरे वादों को उजागर करके जमीनी स्तर पर समर्थन जुटाने का आग्रह किया। रेड्डी ने दावा किया कि एनडीए गठबंधन हर मोर्चे पर विफल रहा है, उन्होंने कहा कि इसने पूर्ववर्ती वाईएसआरसीपी सरकार की कल्याणकारी योजनाओं को खत्म कर दिया और अपने वादों को पूरा करने में विफल रही, जिससे जनता में गुस्सा है।
उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि हजारों करोड़ रुपये की कीमती जमीन को औने-पौने दामों पर सौंपा जा रहा है, उन्होंने लुलु ग्रुप को 1,500 करोड़ रुपये की जमीन सिर्फ 1 रुपये में और इसी तरह 3,000 करोड़ रुपये की जमीन एक अन्य कंपनी को आवंटित किए जाने का हवाला दिया। उन्होंने सरकार पर 4.60 रुपये प्रति यूनिट की दर से बिजली खरीदकर जनता पर “बोझ” डालने का आरोप लगाया, जबकि उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान यह दर 2.49 रुपये प्रति यूनिट थी, उन्होंने कहा कि यह किसानों को लाभ पहुंचाने के लिए थी। निर्वाचन क्षेत्र स्तर के मुद्दों का हवाला देते हुए, उन्होंने दावा किया कि टीडीपी नेताओं ने कथित तौर पर बुनियादी काम के लिए कमीशन की मांग की, जो वर्तमान प्रशासन के तहत ‘गहरी जड़ें वाले भ्रष्टाचार’ को दर्शाता है।
