पवन कल्याण ने कहा कि जब भारत पर हमला हो रहा हो, तो आप पाकिस्तान के समर्थन में खड़े नहीं हो सकते। उन्होंने कहा कि कुछ लोग भारत में रहते हुए भी पाकिस्तान के प्रति प्रेम व्यक्त कर रहे हैं। अगर उन्हें सच में पाकिस्तान से प्रेम है तो उन्हें भारत छोड़कर वहां चले जाना चाहिए।

आंध्र प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री पवन कल्याण ने कांग्रेस के नेताओं के एक वर्ग द्वारा पाकिस्तान पर की गई टिप्पणियों को लेकर कांग्रेस पर हमला बोला है। ये टिप्पणियां और उसके बाद कांग्रेस-भाजपा विवाद 22 अप्रैल को कश्मीर के पहलगाम में हुए बड़े आतंकी हमले और उसके बाद भारत की प्रतिक्रिया का एक हिस्सा हैं। अभिनेता-राजनेता ने आज कहा कि कुछ नेता टेलीविजन पर पाकिस्तान के प्रति प्रेम का इजहार कर रहे हैं। आप भारत में रहकर पाकिस्तान से प्रेम नहीं कर सकते। अगर आपको पाकिस्तान से इतना प्रेम है, तो भारत छोड़ दीजिए। 

पवन कल्याण ने कहा कि जब भारत पर हमला हो रहा हो, तो आप पाकिस्तान के समर्थन में खड़े नहीं हो सकते। उन्होंने कहा कि कुछ लोग भारत में रहते हुए भी पाकिस्तान के प्रति प्रेम व्यक्त कर रहे हैं। अगर उन्हें सच में पाकिस्तान से प्रेम है तो उन्हें भारत छोड़कर वहां चले जाना चाहिए। पाकिस्तान के प्रति इतना प्रेम क्यों है? अगर आप सच में उनका समर्थन करते हैं तो वहीं जाकर रहिए। कुछ लोग, खासकर कांग्रेस के नेता-संभवतः एमएलसी-भारत के दक्षिणी हिस्से से, टीवी डिबेट के दौरान इस तरह के बयान दे रहे हैं।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कांग्रेस पार्टी में अंदरूनी मतभेद हैं। अगर भारत पर हमला होता है और कोई धर्मनिरपेक्षता के नाम पर पाकिस्तान का समर्थन करता है, तो यह स्वीकार्य नहीं होगा। कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री सिद्धारमैया और सैफुद्दीन सोज सहित कुछ कांग्रेस नेता पाकिस्तान समर्थक टिप्पणियों के बाद विवादों में फंस गए हैं। पवन कल्याण ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के पहलगाम में हुए क्रूर आतंकी हमले की कड़ी निंदा की, जिसमें जन सेना कार्यकर्ता मधुसूदन राव सहित 26 लोगों की जान चली गई। मंगलागिरी में सीके कन्वेंशन सेंटर में मंगलवार को आयोजित श्रद्धांजलि सभा को संबोधित करते हुए पवन कल्याण ने धार्मिक आधार पर ऐसे जघन्य कृत्यों को उचित ठहराने का प्रयास करने वालों पर निशाना साधा और इसे अस्वीकार्य और राष्ट्रविरोधी बताया।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने मधुसूदन राव के परिवार को 50 लाख रुपए की आर्थिक सहायता देने की घोषणा की और दोहराया कि इस हमले ने देश की अंतरात्मा को झकझोर दिया है। उन्होंने पूछा, “मधु कश्मीर इसलिए गए क्योंकि उन्हें लगता था कि यह हमारा है। क्या हम निर्दोष नागरिकों को इस तरह से चुकाते हैं?” नेताओं ने पीड़ितों के लिए दो मिनट का मौन रखा। पवन ने कहा कि हत्यारे शिकारियों की तरह आए थे, पहचान पत्र मांग रहे थे, हिंदुओं को निशाना बना रहे थे और उनकी निर्मम हत्या कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा, “यह किसी समुदाय पर हमला नहीं है, यह मानवता पर हमला है। आतंकवादियों के लिए कोई दया नहीं होनी चाहिए।”
