वायरल मैसेज में लिखा है, सुपरस्टार अक्षय कुमार के सुझाव पर मोदी सरकार का एक और बेहतरीन फैसला- सिर्फ 1 रुपए प्रतिदिन, और वह भी भारतीय सेना के लिए। कल मोदी सरकार ने कैबिनेट मीटिंग के दौरान भारतीय सेना और युद्ध क्षेत्रों में घायल या शहीद हुए सैनिकों के लिए बैंक खाता खोला। हर भारतीय 1 रुपए से लेकर असीमित राशि तक कोई भी राशि दान कर सकता है।
सोशल मीडिया पर एक बैंक अकाउंट के बारे में मैसेज वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें लोगों से प्रतिदिन 1 रुपए दान करने की अपील की जा रही है। दावा किया जा रहा है कि नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार ने हाल ही में बॉलीवुड अभिनेता अक्षय कुमार के सुझाव पर कैबिनेट मीटिंग के दौरान यह अकाउंट खोला है, ताकि भारतीय सेना के आधुनिकीकरण और युद्ध में घायल या शहीद होने वाले सैनिकों की मदद की जा सके। हालांकि, सच्चाई यह है कि हाल ही में ऐसी कोई कैबिनेट मीटिंग नहीं हुई है और न ही ऐसा कोई फैसला लिया गया है। वायरल पोस्ट में यह भी दावा किया जा रहा है कि इस फंड का इस्तेमाल सेना और अर्धसैनिक बलों के लिए हथियार खरीदने में किया जाएगा।

वायरल मैसेज में लिखा है, सुपरस्टार अक्षय कुमार के सुझाव पर मोदी सरकार का एक और बेहतरीन फैसला- सिर्फ 1 रुपए प्रतिदिन, और वह भी भारतीय सेना के लिए। कल मोदी सरकार ने कैबिनेट मीटिंग के दौरान भारतीय सेना और युद्ध क्षेत्रों में घायल या शहीद हुए सैनिकों के लिए बैंक खाता खोला। हर भारतीय 1 रुपए से लेकर असीमित राशि तक कोई भी राशि दान कर सकता है। इस पैसे का इस्तेमाल सेना और अर्धसैनिक बलों के लिए हथियार खरीदने में भी किया जाएगा।” पोस्ट में आगे दावा किया गया है कि अगर भारत की 1.3 बिलियन आबादी में से 70 प्रतिशत लोग रोजाना 1 रुपए दान करते हैं, तो कुल राशि 100 करोड़ रुपए प्रतिदिन, 30 दिनों में 3,000 करोड़ रुपए और एक साल में 36,000 करोड़ रुपए होगी- जो पाकिस्तान के वार्षिक रक्षा बजट से भी ज्यादा है। मैसेज में केनरा बैंक खाते का विवरण भी शामिल है और लोगों से इस संदेश को व्यापक रूप से साझा करने का आग्रह किया गया है, जो ‘जय हिंद’ और ‘वंदे मातरम’ जैसे नारों के साथ समाप्त होता है।
क्या है इस दावे की सच्चाई
इस वायरल दावे की जांच के दौरान भारतीय सेना के आधिकारिक ट्विटर हैंडल से 2 सितंबर 2016 को किया गया एक ट्वीट मिला। इसमें साफ तौर पर कहा गया था कि वायरल बैंक अकाउंट “आर्मी वेलफेयर फंड बैटल कैजुअल्टी” के लिए है। यह अकाउंट सरकार ने युद्ध में घायल या शहीद हुए सैनिकों के परिवारों की मदद के लिए बनाया था। इसके अलावा, 17 अक्टूबर 2016 को जारी एक सरकारी प्रेस रिलीज में भी इस बैंक अकाउंट के होने की पुष्टि की गई थी। यह अकाउंट हाल ही में नहीं खोला गया था और न ही इसे हथियार खरीदने के लिए बनाया गया था। यह ध्यान देने योग्य है कि सिंडिकेट बैंक और केनरा बैंक का विलय हो गया है और अब वे एक इकाई के रूप में काम करते हैं। यह विलय 1 अप्रैल, 2020 को प्रभावी हुआ, जब सिंडिकेट बैंक केनरा बैंक की एक शाखा बन गया। यही कारण है कि भारतीय सेना के ट्वीट में बैंक को सिंडिकेट बैंक के रूप में संदर्भित किया गया है। वायरल हो रहा दावा पूरी तरह से भ्रामक है। यह पोस्ट कई झूठे दावों के साथ सोशल मीडिया पर काफी समय से प्रसारित हो रहा है।
