डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने एक पर लिखा, “कश्मीर से बहुत परेशान करने वाली खबर आई है। आतंकवाद के खिलाफ़ भारत के साथ अमेरिका मजबूती से खड़ा है। हम मारे गए लोगों की आत्मा की शांति और घायलों के स्वस्थ होने की प्रार्थना करते हैं। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और भारत के अविश्वसनीय लोगों को हमारा पूरा समर्थन और गहरी सहानुभूति है। हमारी संवेदनाएँ आप सभी के साथ हैं!” रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के पहलगाम में हुए आतंकवादी हमले के दुखद परिणामों पर भारत की राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू और भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को अपनी संवेदनाएं व्यक्त कीं। उन्होंने कहा, “… मैं आतंकवाद के सभी रूपों और अभिव्यक्तियों से लड़ने में भारतीय भागीदारों के साथ सहयोग बढ़ाने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराना चाहूंगा…”
जम्मू कश्मीर के पहलगाम में आतंकवादियों द्वारा किए गए कायराना हमले में 26 लोगों के मारे जाने की खबर है। इसके साथ ही कई लोग घायल है जिन्हें जिला अस्पताल और श्रीनगर के अस्पतालों में भर्ती कराया गया है। यह खबर अलग-अलग मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स से आ रही है। सूत्र लगातार इस बात का दावा कर रहे हैं कि इस हमले में 26 पर्यटकों की मौत हुई है। सूत्रों का यह भी दावा है कि इन 26 में से 16 की पहचान की जा चुकी है। वही महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा है कि राज्य दो लोगों की इस हमले में मौत हुई है। वहीं कर्नाटक से सांसद तेजस्वी सूर्य ने कहा कि उनके राज्य से एक लोग की मृत्यु की पुष्टि हुई है। हालांकि प्रभा साक्षी मौत के आंकड़ों की पुष्टि नहीं कर रहा है।
इसी बीच गृह मंत्री अमित शाह प्रधानमंत्री से बातचीत के बाद सीधे श्रीनगर पहुंच चुके हैं। वहां वह उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा और मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला के साथ बैठक कर रहे हैं। इस बैठक में सुरक्षा से जुड़े तमाम बड़े अधिकारी भी मौजूद है। वही एंटी टेरर ऑपरेशन भी शुरू किया जा चुका है। आतंकवादियों की लगातार तलाश की जा रही है। वहीं भारत पहुंचे अमेरिका के उपराष्ट्रपति ने इस हमले पर दुख जताया है। नई दिल्ली और मुंबई जैसे बड़े शहरों में हाई अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है। लगातार सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है।
