मुंबई के वानखेड़े स्टेडियम में मुंबई इंडियंस और आरसीबी के बीच आईपीएल 2025 का 20वां मुकाबला खेला गया। जिसमें आरसीबी ने मुंबई इंडियंस को 12 रन से हरा दिया। वहीं रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलुरु ने 10 साल बाद वानखेड़े में मुंबई को हराया है। इसके साथ ही मुंबई की इस सीजन में ये लगातार चौथी हार है। जबकि आरसीबी को 3 जीत मिली है।
आरसीबी ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए, निर्धारित 20 ओवर में 5 विकेट पर 221 रन जुटाए। बेंगलुरु के लिए स्टार बल्लेबाज विराट कोहली ने सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाए। उन्होंने 42 गेंदों में 8 चौकों और दो छक्कों की मदद से 67 रनों की पारी खेली। मुंबई के लिए ट्रेंट बोल्ट और कप्तान हार्दिक पंड्या ने दो-दो विकेट झटके। विग्नेश पुथुर ने एक शिकार किया। वहीं जनवरी के बाद प्रतिस्पर्धा क्रिकेट में वापसी करने वाले तेज गेंदबाज जसप्रीत बुमराह को कोई विकेट नहीं मिला।
आरसीबी की शुरुआत अच्छी नहीं रही। बोल्ट ने पहले ही ओवर में फिल साल्ट को महज 4 रन पर पवेलियन भेज दिया। इसके बाद कोहली ने देवदत्त पडिक्कल (22 गेंद में 37) के साथ दूसरे विकेट के लिए 91 रनों की अहम साझेदारी की। कोहली कप्तान रजत पाटीदार के संग तीसरे विकेट के लिए 84 रनों की पार्टनरशिप की। हार्दिक ने 15वें ओवर में कोहली और लियाम लिविंगस्टोन (0) को आउट किया। ऐसे में पाटीदार ने जितेश शर्मा के साथ मोर्चा संभाला और दोनों ने पांचवें विकेट के लिए 69 रन जोड़कप आरसीबी को 200 के पार पहुंचाया। उन्होंने दो चौके और चार छक्के लगाए। बोल्ट ने चार ओवर के स्पेल में 57 रन लुटाए। उन्होंने पहली बार आईपीएल में किसी मैच में पचास से ज्यादा रन खर्च किए।
वहीं लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी मुंबई इंडियंस निर्धारित 20 ओवर में 9 विकेट पर 209 रन ही बना पाई और अपना आईपीएल 2025 का चौथा मुकाबला भी हार गई। वहीं MI के लिए तिलक वर्मा ने 29 गेंद में 56 रन और कप्तान हार्दिक पंड्या ने 15 गेंद पर 42 रन बनाए। सूर्यकुमार यादव ने 26 गेंद पर 28 रन बनाए। विल जैक्स ने 18 गेंद पर 22 रन बनाए। रोहित शर्मा ने 9 गेंद पर 17 रन बनाए। रेयान रिकल्टन ने 10 गेंद पर 17 रन बनाए। नमन धीर ने 6 गेंद पर 11 रन बनाए। क्रुणाल पंड्या ने 45 रन देकर 4 विकेट अपने नाम किए। जोश हेजलवुड और यश दयाल ने 2-2 विकेट झटके। वहीं भुवनेश्वर कुमार को 1 विकेट की संभलता मिली।
