महाराष्ट्र के उपमुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने बुधवार को शिवसेना प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे पर वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक का विरोध करने के लिए निशाना साधा और उन पर हिंदुत्व और बालासाहेब ठाकरे की विचारधारा को त्यागने का आरोप लगाया। मीडिया से बात करते हुए शिंदे ने इसे उनका सबसे बड़ा अपराध बताया। शिंदे ने कहा कि इसका विरोध करके यूबीटी ने अपना असली चेहरा उजागर कर दिया है। यह साबित हो गया है कि उन्होंने हिंदुत्व और बालासाहेब ठाकरे के आदर्शों को पूरी तरह त्याग दिया है। यह बेहद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि उद्धव ठाकरे असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की भाषा बोल रहे हैं। वफ्फ बोर्ड को विरोध करके यूबीटी ने अपन असली चेहरा सामना लाया है, यह दुर्भाग्यपुर्ण है।
एकनाथ शिंदे ने कहा कि यह 2019 में हुए विश्वासघात से भी बड़ा अपराध है जब उन्होंने (उद्धव ठाकरे ने) बालासाहेब ठाकरे की विचारधारा को त्यागकर 2019 में कांग्रेस के साथ सरकार बनाई थी। उन्होंने ठाकरे के नेतृत्व की आलोचना करते हुए उन्हें भ्रमित बताया। उन्होंने कहा, “उद्धव ठाकरे पूरी तरह से भ्रमित हैं। उन्हें यह भी नहीं पता कि क्या निर्णय लेना है। जब नेतृत्व इस तरह का हो जाता है, तो पार्टी का भविष्य भी अंधकार में होता है।” इसके अलावा, महाराष्ट्र के उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वक्फ (संशोधन) विधेयक 2025 का उद्देश्य वक्फ संपत्तियों पर कुछ चुनिंदा लोगों के एकाधिकार को समाप्त करना है, जबकि उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कांग्रेस गरीबों को गरीबी में रखना चाहती है।
शिंदे ने कहा, “वक्फ बोर्ड मुट्ठी भर लोगों के हाथ में था, लेकिन अब मोदी जी द्वारा पेश किए गए बिल से उनका वर्चस्व खत्म हो जाएगा। इससे महिलाओं और बच्चों को मुख्यधारा में आने का मौका मिलेगा। इससे मुस्लिम समुदाय के गरीब तबके को फायदा होगा, लेकिन कांग्रेस वोटों की खातिर मुसलमानों को गरीब बनाए रखना चाहती है।” इससे पहले दिन में उद्धव ठाकरे ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के नेतृत्व वाली केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी पार्टी वक्फ (संशोधन) विधेयक और भाजपा के पाखंड और उसके “व्यापारी मित्रों को जमीन देने की योजना” का विरोध करती है।
