आईसीसी चैंपिंयस ट्रॉफी 2025 पाकिस्तान और दुबई में खेली जा रही है। वहीं बीते सोमवार इसका एक मुकाबला बांग्लादेश और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच खेला गया। जहां एक बड़ी चूक नजर आई। दरअसल, ग्रुप ए के इस मैच में जब न्यूजीलैंड की टीम टारगेट को चेज कर रही थी तो उस दौरान एक बड़ा सिक्योरिटी ब्रीच देखने को मिला, जब पाकिस्तान की एक पार्टी का एख समर्थक एक फोटो लेकर न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाड़ियों के पास पहुंचा। पीसीबी ने फैंस की इस तरह की हरकत से बचने के लिए तमाम इंतजाम किए थे, लेकिन फिर भी सुरक्षा घेरा तोड़कर एक शख्स मैदान पर जा पहुंचा। 

समाचार एजेंसी एपी के अनुसार, तहरीक-ए-लब्बैक ने नेता साद रिजवी की तस्वीर लिए एक शख्स न्यूजीलैंड के क्रिकेटर रचिन रविंद्र के करीब पहुंच गया और गले लग गया, जिससे कीवी खिलाड़ी काफी नाराज हो गए। ये घटना न्यूजीलैंड के रन चेज के दौरान हुई, जब मेहमान टीम के लिए रचिन रविंद्र और टॉम लैथम बल्लेबाजी कर रहे थे। रविंद्र के बेहतरीन शतक की बदौलत न्यूजीलैंड ने बांग्लादेश को पांच विकेट से हराकर सेमीफाइनल में प्रवेश किया। इस परिणाम ने भारत के टॉप 4 में प्रवेश को भी सुनिश्चित कर दिया और इस तरह आईसीसी टूर्नामेंट से पाकिस्तान और बांग्लादेश को बाहर कर दिया। 

वहीं  इस बीच खुफिया एजेंसी ब्यूरो ने चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में भाग लेने  वाले विदेशी मेहमानों को फिरौती के लिए अगवा करने की कथित साजिश के बारे में हाई अलर्ट जारी किया गयाहै। तहरीक-ए तालिबान पाकिस्तान और आईएसआईएस सहित कई आंतकी संगठनों के खिलाफ अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। पाकिस्तान 29 साल में पहली बार आईसीसी टूर्नामेंट की मेजबानी कर रहा है और बीसीसीआई ने सुरक्षा कारणों के कारण से ही भारत सरकार से अनुमित ना मिलने के बाद टूर्नामेंट के लिए टीम इंडिया को सीमा पार भेजने से इनकार कर दिया था।
