भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच दुबई में बीते रविवार को हुए आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी मुकाबले में कई रिकॉर्ड टूटे। आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 के इस पांचवें मैच में JioHotstar पर व्यूअरशिप 60.2 करोड़ पहुंच गई। जियोहॉटस्टार पर उस वक्त सबसे ज्यादा रिकॉर्ड दर्शक थे, जब विराट कोहली ने विनिंग चौका लगाया और भारत ने ये मैच 6 विकेट से जीत लिया। पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ इस मैच में विराट ने वनडे मैच में 51वां शतक ठोंक दिया। 

हालांकि, मैच शुरू होनेके कुछ समय बाद ही ऐसा लग रहा था कि भारत ये मैच जीत लेगा। भारत ने शुरुआत में कुछ विकेट गंवाए भी लेकिन कोहली पिच पर डटे रहे और इसके साथ ही यूजर्स भी अपने स्मार्टफोन्स, पर्सनल कंप्यूटर और टीवी सेट से चिपके रहे। जियोहॉटस्टार पर मैच देखने वाले दर्शकों की संख्या में लगातार इजाफा होता रहा। 

वहीं जियोहॉटस्टार पर आई इस व्यूअरशिप ने इस बार सभी रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए। पाकिस्तान के कप्तान रिजवान द्वारा पहले बल्लेबाजी के फैसले के बाद जब मोहम्मद शमी ने मैच की पहली बॉल डाली तब जियोहॉटस्टार पर 6.8 करोड़ दर्शक थे। हाल ही में जियोसिनेमा और डिस्नी प्लस हॉटस्टार के मर्जर के बाद जियो हॉटस्टार लॉन्च हुआ है। इस ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म पर जियोसिनेमा और डिज्नी प्लस हॉटस्टार दोनों प्लेटफॉर्म का कॉन्टेंट एक जगह मिलेगा। 

मैच आगे बढ़ने के साथ-साथ जियो हॉटस्टार पर दर्शकों की संख्या भी बढ़ती गई। भारत और पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट मैच की दीवानगी ऐसी थी कि इनिंग ब्रेक के दौरान दर्शकों की संख्या जियो हॉटस्टार पर 32.2 करोड़ पहुंच गई।
