समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने एक बार फिर से महाकुंभ को लेकर गंभीर सवाल उठाए हैं। सपा अध्यक्ष ने जिस खबर का हवाला दिया है। उसमें ये दावा किया गया है कि महाकुंभ में महिलाओं की सुरक्षा को ताक पर रखा गया है। यहां पर स्नान के लिए आईं कई महिलाओं की तस्वीरें टेली ग्राम पर बेची जा रही हैं।
हमारे देश में धर्म निरपेक्षता के नाम पर सनातन धर्म की परंपरा और रीति रिवाजों को अपमानित क्यों किया जाता है? ये अपने आप में एक बड़ा सवाल है। इस समय विपक्ष के नेता मोदी विरोध के चक्कर में महाकुंभ और सनातन धर्म का खुलकर अपमान कर रहे हैं। पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने महाकुंभ को मृत्युकंभ बताया। वहीं बिहार के आरजेडी नेता लालू यादव ने महाकुंभ को फालतू बताते हुए कहा कि इसका कोई महत्व नहीं है। समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता शिवपाल यादव ने कहा था कि महाकुंभ का आयोजन बीजेपी के प्रचार के लिए हो रहा है। कुख्यात अपराधी मुख्तार अंसारी के भाई और समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद अफजाल अंसारी ने कहा कि महाकुंभ में करोड़ों लोगों के स्नान करने से अब स्वर्ग हाउस फुल हो चुका है। वो सनातन धर्म का मजाक उड़ा रहे हैं। इससे पहले कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे कह चुके हैं कि गंगा नदी में डुबकी लगाने से गरीबी दूर नहीं हो सकती। कर्नाटक के उपमुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार ने कावेरी नदी में ही स्नान करते हुए कहा कि अगर उन्हें स्नान ही करना है तो वे प्रयागराज न जाए और कर्नाटक की ही कावेरी नदी में आस्था की डुबकी लगाए।

आज बड़ा सवाल है कि जितना विरोध और आलोचना कुंभ का हो रहा है क्या वैसा ही विरोध दूसरे धर्म के धार्मिक आयोजन का हो सकता है। क्या ये संभव है। ममता हर साल इफ्तार पार्टी का आयोजन करती हैं। लेकिन क्या वो ऐसे ही शब्द इफ्तार पार्टी के लिए कर सकती हैं। क्या लालू इसे फालतू बता सकते हैं। क्रिसमस और ईस्टर वीक को लेकर क्या विपक्ष के नेता ऐसी बातें कह सकते हैं जैसा कुंभ को लेकर कह रहे हैं?
