तमिल गौरव के संरक्षण का दावा करने वालों की ‘खोखली बयानबाजी’ निंदनीय है: राज्यपाल

राज्यपाल आर. एन. रवि ने उन लोगों की आलोचना की है जो तमिल और संस्कृति के संवर्धन एवं संरक्षण का दावा तो करते हैं, लेकिन जिनका वास्तविक तौर पर इसमें कोई योगदान नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि सही मायने में समृद्ध तमिल साहित्यिक विरासत को संरक्षित करने और उसके संवर्धन में ही उसका असली सम्मान निहित है।

चेन्नई । तमिलनाडु के राज्यपाल आर. एन. रवि ने उन लोगों की आलोचना की है जो तमिल और संस्कृति के संवर्धन एवं संरक्षण का दावा तो करते हैं, लेकिन जिनका वास्तविक तौर पर इसमें कोई योगदान नहीं है। उन्होंने किसी का नाम लिए बगैर कहा कि सही मायने में समृद्ध तमिल साहित्यिक विरासत को संरक्षित करने और उसके संवर्धन में ही उसका असली सम्मान निहित है। महाकवि सुब्रमण्यम भरतियार की साहित्यिक कृतियों को कालानुक्रमिक रूप से संकलित करने में सीनी विश्वनाथन के योगदान के लिए उन्हें पद्मश्री पुरस्कार मिलने पर मंगलवार को रवि ने यहां उन्हें सम्मानित किया।

उन्होंने कहा कि राजभवन की पहल पर राष्ट्रीय कवि की एक प्रतिमा स्थापित की गई, एक राज्य स्तरीय निबंध प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई और राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू के नेतृत्व में दरबार हॉल का नाम बदलकर भारतियार मंडपम रखा गया। उन्होंने भारतियार की कृतियों का अन्य भारतीय भाषाओं में अनुवाद करने के महत्व पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने राज्य के विश्वविद्यालयों में भारतियार को समर्पित किए जाने वाली योजनाओं और पहलों के अभाव पर दुख जताया।

उन्होंने आश्चर्य जताते हुए कहा, ‘‘जब प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी बनारस हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय में भारतियार पीठ की स्थापना कर सकते हैं, तो तमिलनाडु में ऐसी ही पहल क्यों नहीं की जा सकती।’’ रवि ने दावा किया कि कुलपतियों द्वारा इस तरह की पहल करने की इच्छा व्यक्त करने के बावजूद, उन्हें ‘दबाव और धमकियों’ का सामना करना पड़ा। उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘महाकवि भारतियार लोगों के दिलों में रहते हैं, फिर भी उनकी विरासत को तमिलनाडु में एक अंधराष्ट्रवादी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र द्वारा कमजोर किया जा रहा है, जो निरंतर उपेक्षा और शत्रुता के भाव के माध्यम से उनके योगदान को मिटाना चाहता है।
