Kusum । Jan 24 2025 3:12PM2021 में सौरव गांगुली की बायोपिक का ऐलान 2021 में किया गया था। इस फिल्म के निर्देशन की जिम्मेदारी विक्रमादित्य मोटवाने को दी गई है। विक्रमादित्य ने उड़ाने और लुटेरा जैसी चर्चित और क्रिटिक्स द्वारा सराही गई फिल्में बनाई हैं।

कई सालों से भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान सौरव गांगुली की बायोपिक की चर्चा हो रही है। उनकी जिंदगी को बड़े पर्दे पर लाने के लिए फिल्म डायरेक्टर कोशिश कर रहे हैं। जिसके लिए लीड एक्टर का नाम फाइनल ही नहीं हो पा रहा था, लेकिन अब कहा जा रहा है कि, सौरव गांगुली की जिंदगी से जुड़ी फिल्म के लिए लीड एक्टर मिल गया है। पहले इस रोल के लिए आयुष्मान खुराना को अप्रोच किया गया था। वहीं टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया की एक रिपोर्ट में कहा गया था कि, ड्रीम गर्ल फेम आयुष्मान ने इस फिल्म को करने के लिए हामी भर दी है। 

इसके अलावा रणबीर कपूर और बंगाली फिल्म इंडस्ट्री के मशहूर एक्टर प्रसेनजीत चटर्जी का ना भी चर्चा में था। हालांकि, निर्माताओं की तरफ से इस बारे में अभी तक कोई पुष्टि नहीं की गई थी। लेकिन अब कहा जा रहा है कि, राजकुमार राव सौरव गांगुली की बायोपिक के लिए उनका रोल निभा सकते हैं। 

हाल ही में बंगाली अखबार आनंद बाजार पत्रिका के पत्रकार सुमित घोष ने सोशल मीडिया पर इस खबर को लेकर बड़ा खुलासा किया है। उन्होंने लिखा कि, ब्रेकिंग, राजकुमार राव सौरव गांगुली की बायोपिक में उनकी भूमिका निभाने के लिए सबसे बड़े दावेदार हैं फिल्म की शूटिंग जल्द शुरू होगी। बायोपिक की टीम को हाल ही में सौरव के साथ ईडन गार्डन्स में टी20 मैच देखते हुए देखा गया।

सौरव गांगुली की बायोपिक के निर्माताओं की ओर से अभी तक कोई आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं हुई है लेकिन कहा जा रहा है कि शूटिंग शुरू होने के बारे में पॉजिटिव संकेत हैं।
