दुनिया के बेहतरीन चेस खिलाड़ी मैग्नस कार्लसन एक बार फिर विवादों में आ गए हैं। वर्ल्ड ब्लिट्स और रैपिड चैंपियनशिप में ये खिलाड़ी पहले अपनी जींस को लेकर चर्चा में आया और अब इस खिलाड़ी पर मैच फिक्सिंग का आरोप लगाया जा रहा है साथ ही जांच की मांग भी की जा रही है।

दरअसल, मैगन्स कार्लसन और इयान नेपोमनिची ने वर्ल्ड ब्लिट्ज चैंपियनशिप टाइटल शेयर किया। आमतौर पर ऐसा नहीं होता लेकि इस बार चेस की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संस्था FIDE इसके लिए मान गई। हालांकि, अब मैग्नस कार्लसन और नेपो पर फिक्सिंग का आरोप लगाया जा रहा है। कार्लसन ने मुद्दे पर सफाई भी दी और कहा कि उनके एक मजाक को ज्यादा गंभीर ले लिया गया। 

मैग्नस और नेपो ने फाइनल में चार मैच खेल थे। इसमें से दोनों ने 2-2 मैच खेले थे। वहीं फिर तीन टाइब्रेक ड्रॉ होने के बाद दोनों ने ड्रॉ करने का फैसला किया। इसी मैच के दौरान का एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ। इस वीडियो में मैग्नस नेपो से बात कर रहे हैं। मैग्नस ने कहा कि अगर फीडे वाले शेयर करने के लिए नहीं मानते हैं तो जब तक वह तैयार नहीं होते हम छोटे ड्रॉ खेलते रहेंगे। ये कहकर वह हंसने लगे और हाथ मिलाया। 

वहीं फैंस के अलावा चेस के दिग्गज खिलाड़ी भी इसके खिलाफ खड़े दिखाई दिए। हैन्स नीमस, श्रीनाथ नारायण और दिग्गज खिलाड़ी सुसान पुलगर ने इसे गलत बताया। इसे मैच फिक्सिंग कहा जा रहा है। ये भी कहा गया कि पिछले साल इसी टूर्नामेंट में जब नेपो और दानिल डुबोव ने छोटा ड्रॉ खेला था तो उन्हें सजा दी गई थी। हैनंस नीमन ने लिखा कि, FIDE की एथिक्स कमेटी को जांच करनी चाहिए। मैं विश्वास नहीं कर सकता कि दो खिलाड़ी जिन्होंने दुर्भावनापूर्ण रूप से मुझ पर आरोप लगाया और मेरा करियर बर्बाद करने की कोशिश की, वे खुलेआम नियम तोड़ रहे हैं। विडंबना इससे बदतर नहीं हो सकती है। 

मैग्नस ने इस पर सफाई देते हुए एक्स पर लिखा कि, मैंने अपने करियरमें कभी भी पहले से ड्रॉ की व्यवस्था नहीं की है। वीडियो में मैं इयान के साथ ऐसी स्थिति में मजाक कर रहा हूं जहां निर्णायक टाइब्रेक नियमों की कमी है। ये स्पष्ट रूप से फीडे को प्रभावित करने का प्रयास नहीं था। ये इस भावना से कहा गया था कि मुझे लगा कि फीडे हमारे प्रस्ताव से सहमत होगा।
