केंद्रीय मंत्री ने आगे कहा कि मानव अंतरिक्ष मिशन, जिसे शुरू में 2025 के लिए निर्धारित किया गया था। 2026 की शुरुआत में गहरे समुद्र मिशन के साथ मेल खाने के लिए पुनर्निर्धारित किया गया है। इस संरेखण में एक भारतीय वहां और एक भारतीय गहरे समुद्र में दिखाई देगा।
केंद्रीय मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह ने कहा कि भारत सरकार अपने महत्वाकांक्षी ‘डीप सी मिशन’ के तहत एक इंसान को गहरे समुद्र में भेजने की तैयारी कर रही है। इस मिशन के 2026 की शुरुआत में होने वाले देश के पहले मानव अंतरिक्ष मिशन के अनुरूप होने की उम्मीद है। भारतीय राष्ट्रीय महासागर सूचना सेवा केंद्र (आईएनसीओआईएस) में 2004 के हिंद महासागर सुनामी की 20वीं वर्षगांठ के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए, सिंह ने वैज्ञानिक अन्वेषण में देश की प्रगति पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा अपने स्वतंत्रता दिवस के संबोधन के दौरान ‘डीप सी मिशन’ के पहले उल्लेख को भी याद किया, जिसमें समुद्री अनुसंधान और नवाचार में भारत की स्थिति को मजबूत करने में इसके महत्व को रेखांकित किया गया था।
केंद्रीय मंत्री ने आगे कहा कि मानव अंतरिक्ष मिशन, जिसे शुरू में 2025 के लिए निर्धारित किया गया था। 2026 की शुरुआत में गहरे समुद्र मिशन के साथ मेल खाने के लिए पुनर्निर्धारित किया गया है। इस संरेखण में एक भारतीय वहां और एक भारतीय गहरे समुद्र में दिखाई देगा। सिंह ने कहा कि यह देश की वैज्ञानिक यात्रा में उल्लेखनीय मील का पत्थर है। भारत की 7,500 किलोमीटर लंबी तटरेखा और इसके प्रचुर समुद्री संसाधनों की सतत खोज और संरक्षण की वकालत करते हुए कहा कि मंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार इन प्रयासों का समर्थन करने के लिए एक पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र बनाने के लिए काम कर रही है। मीडिया से बात करते हुए, सिंह ने कहा कि INCOIS द्वारा प्रदान की गई सेवाएँ और जानकारी न केवल भारत के तटीय समुदायों के लिए बल्कि दुनिया भर के लोगों के लिए भी प्रासंगिक हैं।
अत्याधुनिक सुविधा की सराहना करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि संस्थान ऐसी सेवाएं प्रदान कर रहा है जो न केवल ‘विकसित भारत’ के विकास में योगदान देती हैं बल्कि दुनिया में भारत के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान में भी योगदान देती हैं। 2004 की सुनामी से हुई तबाही को याद करते हुए, सिंह ने सीखे गए महत्वपूर्ण सबक और उसके बाद परिवर्तनकारी नीतियों के बारे में बात की। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि इस त्रासदी ने INCOIS जैसे संस्थानों की स्थापना को प्रेरित किया, जो अब जीवन और आजीविका की सुरक्षा के लिए भारत की प्रतिबद्धता के प्रमाण के रूप में खड़ा है।
