बंगाल सीएम ने कहा कि हमारे संविधान निर्माता बाबासाहेब अम्बेडकर का अपमान अस्वीकार्य है! इस जातिवादी भाजपा सरकार ने हमारे लोकतंत्र पर बार-बार हमला किया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि भाजपा की हरकतें उसके दलित विरोधी एजेंडे को उजागर कर रही हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने  भाजपा के खिलाफ 23 दिसंबर को राज्यव्यापी विरोध प्रदर्शन का आह्वान किया और पार्टी पर संविधान निर्माता डॉ. बीआर अंबेडकर का अपमान करने का आरोप लगाया। सोशल मीडिया पर साझा किए गए कड़े शब्दों वाले बयान में बनर्जी ने आरोप लगाया कि केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने संसद में अंबेडकर और संविधान मसौदा समिति के अन्य सदस्यों के बारे में अपमानजनक टिप्पणी की थी।

बंगाल सीएम ने कहा कि हमारे संविधान निर्माता बाबासाहेब अम्बेडकर का अपमान अस्वीकार्य है! इस जातिवादी भाजपा सरकार ने हमारे लोकतंत्र पर बार-बार हमला किया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि भाजपा की हरकतें उसके दलित विरोधी एजेंडे को उजागर कर रही हैं। टिप्पणी को संविधान की रीढ़ पर हमला बताते हुए बनर्जी ने पूरे बंगाल में लोगों से विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि बाबासाहेब अंबेडकर के खिलाफ अपमानजनक टिप्पणियों और हमारे स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के अपमान के विरोध में 23 दिसंबर को दोपहर 2 बजे से 3 बजे तक राज्य के हर ब्लॉक, नगर पालिका और कोलकाता के हर वार्ड में विरोध रैलियां आयोजित की जाएंगी।

 बहुजन समाज पार्टी (बसपा) प्रमुख मायावती ने कहा कि केन्द्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने संविधान निर्माता बाबा साहेब आंबेडकर को लेकर संसद में जो बयान दिया है उससे सर्वसमाज के लोग काफी उद्वेलित और आक्रोशित हैं और पार्टी शाह के बयान के विरोध में 24 दिसंबर को देशव्यापी आंदोलन करेगी। मायावती ने सोशल मीडिया मंच एक्स पर सिलसिलेवार पोस्ट के जरिए यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने अपने पोस्ट में कहा कि देश के दलित, वंचित व अन्य उपेक्षितों के आत्म-सम्मान व मानवीय हकूक के लिए अति-मानवतावादी व कल्याणकारी संविधान के रूप में असली ग्रंथ के रचयिता बाबा साहेब डा. भीमराव आंबेडकर भगवान की तरह परमपूजनीय हैं।
