11 जून को लालू प्रसाद के जन्मदिन पर एक कथित वीडियो वायरल हुआ, जिसमें उनके पैरों के पास डॉ. बीआर अंबेडकर का पोस्टर रखा हुआ दिखाया गया। पिछले कुछ दिनों से राज्य भाजपा इस मुद्दे को उठा रही है, जिसमें बिहार के उपमुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने पटना में एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की।

भाजपा राजद सुप्रीमो द्वारा डॉ. बीआर अंबेडकर के कथित अपमान को लेकर राजद नेता लालू प्रसाद और पार्टी के सामाजिक न्याय के मुद्दे के खिलाफ अपना अभियान तेज करने की योजना बना रही है। 11 जून को लालू प्रसाद के जन्मदिन पर एक कथित वीडियो वायरल हुआ, जिसमें उनके पैरों के पास डॉ. बीआर अंबेडकर का पोस्टर रखा हुआ दिखाया गया। पिछले कुछ दिनों से राज्य भाजपा इस मुद्दे को उठा रही है, जिसमें बिहार के उपमुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने पटना में एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की।

वहीं, लालू यादव और बीआर अंबेडकर फोटो विवाद के बीच पटना में लगाए गए पोस्टरों में लिखा है, ‘सात दिन होने को है, कब माफ़ी मांगोगे लालू यादव और तेजस्वी यादव’। रविवार को बिहार राज्य अनुसूचित जाति आयोग ने लालू को नोटिस जारी कर उनसे इस मामले में अपनी स्थिति स्पष्ट करने को कहा। केंद्रीय मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव ने इस मुद्दे पर पूरी तरह से चुप्पी साधने के लिए लालू प्रसाद की आलोचना की। यादव ने दिल्ली में मीडियाकर्मियों से कहा, “बिहार के लोग लालूजी के शासन को नहीं भूले हैं। उनके शासन में दलितों और पिछड़े समुदायों पर अत्याचार चरम पर थे। वीडियो में दिख रहे दृश्य उनके अहंकार को साफ तौर पर दर्शाते हैं। मेरा दृढ़ विश्वास है कि उन्हें इसके लिए माफी मांगनी चाहिए।” 

भाजपा के आरोपों पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए वरिष्ठ राजद नेता मनोज झा ने इसे भाजपा का निरर्थक दिखावा बताया। झा ने कहा कि हमारे राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष के प्रति उनकी (भाजपा की) निरर्थक हरकतें वास्तव में उनकी खोखली राजनीति को उजागर करती हैं, जो प्रतीकात्मक श्रद्धा बनाम वास्तविक प्रतिबद्धता के बारे में अक्सर दिखने वाले तनाव के अलावा और कुछ नहीं है। जबकि भाजपा अक्सर मूर्तियों, आयोजनों और छवियों के माध्यम से डॉ. बी.आर. अंबेडकर का आह्वान करती है, हम इस बात पर जोर देते रहे हैं कि यह अक्सर उनके द्वारा स्थापित मूल मूल्यों – सामाजिक न्याय, समानता और संवैधानिक नैतिकता – की उपेक्षा करती है या उनका खंडन करती है।
