अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस की तैयारियों पर आंध्र प्रदेश के सीएम चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने कहा कि 11वां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस सबसे बड़ा आयोजन होगा। विशाखापत्तनम के लिए यह एक अनूठा अवसर है। प्रधानमंत्री यहां आएंगे। एक ही समय में एक ही स्थान पर पांच लाख लोग भाग लेंगे।
21 जून को आयोजित होने वाले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस समारोह से पहले भाग्य के विशाखापत्तनम का बड़े पैमाने पर कायाकल्प किया जा रहा है। इस कार्यक्रम के मुख्य स्थल, नेवल कोस्टल बैटरी और पार्क होटल जंक्शन के बीच बीच रोड के हिस्से को बड़े पैमाने पर सुंदर बनाया जा रहा है। इस भव्य कार्यक्रम में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, कई केंद्रीय मंत्री, मुख्यमंत्री एन. चंद्रबाबू नायडू और उपमुख्यमंत्री के. पवन कल्याण और अन्य गणमान्य लोग शामिल होंगे।

21 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर विशाखापत्तनम के रामकृष्ण समुद्र तट पर योगांध्र-2025 समारोह में विजयनगरम और श्रीकाकुलम जिलों से 1.5 लाख से अधिक लोगों के भाग लेने की उम्मीद है। दोनों जिलों के प्रशासन ने इस क्षेत्र से योग साधकों को जुटाने के लिए सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता दी है, क्योंकि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और मुख्यमंत्री एन. चंद्रबाबू नायडू दोनों ही कार्यक्रम स्थल पर योग आसन करने वाले हैं। अधिकारियों ने महसूस किया कि परिवहन उपलब्ध कराना कोई बड़ी समस्या नहीं होगी क्योंकि भीमिली, विशाखापत्तनम और अन्य क्षेत्र विजयनगरम के बहुत करीब हैं। श्री माधवन ने सुझाव दिया कि सुरक्षा कारणों से प्रतिभागी निजी वाहनों का उपयोग करने के बजाय सरकार द्वारा दी जाने वाली परिवहन सुविधा का उपयोग करें।
