मणिपुर में नदियों के उफान पर आने और तटबंधों के टूटने से आई बाढ़ से 56,000 से अधिक लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं। एक आधिकारिक बयान में मंगलवार को यह जानकारी दी गई। इसमें कहा गया है कि बाढ़ से 10,477 घर क्षतिग्रस्त हुए हैं और 56,516 लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं।
पूर्वोत्तर में बाढ़ का कहर बरस रहा है। कही बादल फट रहे हैं तो कही लोग बारिश रुकने का नाम नहीं ले रही हैं। नदियां उफाम पर हैं। स्थिति बेहद गंभीर बनी हुई है। सबसे ज्यादा हालत सिक्किम और मणिपुर की खराब है। मणिपुर में नदियों के उफान पर आने और तटबंधों के टूटने से आई बाढ़ से 56,000 से अधिक लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं। एक आधिकारिक बयान में मंगलवार को यह जानकारी दी गई।
इसमें कहा गया है कि बाढ़ से 10,477 घर क्षतिग्रस्त हुए हैं और 56,516 लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं।
बयान के मुताबिक सोमवार को इंफाल ईस्ट जिले में एक व्यक्ति नदी में बह जाने के बाद लापता हो गया। प्रभावित क्षेत्रों से 2,913 लोगों को निकाला गया है।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि सोमवार को इंफाल ईस्ट जिले के बाशिखोंग में तटबंध टूटने की सूचना है।
प्रभावित लोगों के लिए कम से कम 57 राहत शिविर बनाए गए हैं, जिनमें से अधिकतर इंफाल ईस्ट जिले में हैं, जो राज्य में सबसे अधिक बाढ़ प्रभावित जिला है।
पिछले पांच दिनों में राज्य भर में भूस्खलन की 93 घटनाएं हुई हैं।
राज्य की राजधानी इंफाल के कई इलाके और इंफाल ईस्ट जिले के कई हिस्से जलमग्न हो गए हैं, क्योंकि उफनती नदी ने तटबंध तोड़ दिए हैं और ये खुरई, हेइंगांग और चेकॉन इलाकों में खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रही है।
मणिपुर के राज्यपाल अजय कुमार भल्ला ने इंफाल शहर के कई जलमग्न इलाकों का दौरा किया, जबकि सेना और असम राइफल्स के जवानों ने सबसे अधिक प्रभावित जिले इंफाल ईस्ट में जलमग्न इलाकों से करीब 800 लोगों को बचाया। राजभवन की ओर से जारी बयान में कहा गया कि भल्ला ने मुख्य सचिव पी.के. सिंह और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ इंफाल में कांगला नोंगपोक थोंग, लैरिक्येंगबाम लेइकाई और सिंगजामेई ब्रिज का दौरा किया और समग्र स्थिति का आकलन किया।
