कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश में भारतीय रेलवे की बल्लारी-चिकजाजुर मल्टीट्रैकिंग परियोजना पर केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा कि यह दोहरीकरण परियोजना 185 किलोमीटर तक फैली है और इसकी लागत 3,342 करोड़ रुपये है। यह मंगलौर बंदरगाह के साथ आंतरिक इलाकों को कुशलतापूर्वक जोड़ेगी।
केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा कि पीएम मोदी के ऐतिहासिक तीसरे कार्यकाल के दौरान, परिवहन और रसद लागत को कम करने के लिए कई परियोजनाएं शुरू की गई हैं। आईआईएम बैंगलोर और आईआईएम कलकत्ता के हालिया अध्ययन से पता चलता है कि परिवहन में निवेश से देश की रसद लागत में लगभग 4% की कमी आई है। रसद लागत में हर प्रतिशत की कमी का मतलब है कि बहुत अधिक प्रतिस्पर्धी उद्योग होंगे। हम अधिक निर्यात कर सकते हैं। हम उत्पादन लागत कम रख सकते हैं… पिछले 1 साल में परिवहन परियोजनाओं के लिए लगभग 4.5 लाख करोड़ रुपये के निवेश को मंजूरी दी गई है। यह विकसित भारत के हमारे लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने में हमारी बड़ी भूमिका निभाएगा।
कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश में भारतीय रेलवे की बल्लारी-चिकजाजुर मल्टीट्रैकिंग परियोजना पर केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा कि यह दोहरीकरण परियोजना 185 किलोमीटर तक फैली है और इसकी लागत 3,342 करोड़ रुपये है। यह मंगलौर बंदरगाह के साथ आंतरिक इलाकों को कुशलतापूर्वक जोड़ेगी। हम मंगलौर की रेलवे कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार के लिए एक मास्टर प्लान बना रहे हैं… यह 29 प्रमुख पुलों वाली एक जटिल परियोजना है… इससे लगभग 13 लाख की आबादी को लाभ होगा… यह लगभग 19 मिलियन टन अतिरिक्त माल की ढुलाई की सुविधा प्रदान कर सकती है, जो हमारे पर्यावरण के लिए अभूतपूर्व रूप से मददगार होगी। यह 101 करोड़ कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड उत्सर्जन को रोकेगा, जो चार करोड़ पेड़ लगाने के बराबर है। इससे हमें देश के 20 करोड़ लीटर डीजल को सालाना बचाने में भी मदद मिलेगी… यह परियोजना कर्नाटक-आंध्र प्रदेश की सीमा पर बल्लारी क्षेत्र में है।
रेलवे लाइन की बढ़ी हुई क्षमता परिवहन को महत्वपूर्ण रूप से बढ़ाएगी, जिससे भारतीय रेलवे की परिचालन दक्षता और सेवा विश्वसनीयता बेहतर होगी। ये मल्टी-ट्रैकिंग प्रस्ताव रेलवे परिचालन को सुव्यवस्थित करने और भीड़भाड़ को कम करने के लिए तैयार किए गए हैं। सरकार ने कहा कि ये परियोजनाएं प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के नए भारत के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप हैं, जो स्थानीय लोगों को व्यापक विकास के जरिये ‘आत्मनिर्भर’ बनाएगी और उनके लिए रोजगार एवं स्वरोजगार के अवसर बढ़ेंगे। रेल मंत्रालय ने कहा कि ये परियोजनाएं बहु-आयामी संपर्क के लिए पीएम-गति शक्ति राष्ट्रीय मास्टर प्लान का परिणाम हैं, जो एकीकृत योजना के माध्यम से संभव हुआ है। इससे लोगों, वस्तुओं और सेवाओं की आवाजाही के लिए निर्बाध संपर्क सुविधा मिलेगी। मंत्रालय ने कहा, ‘‘झारखंड, कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश राज्यों के सात जिलों को समाहित करने वाली दो परियोजनाएं भारतीय रेलवे के मौजूदा नेटवर्क को लगभग 318 किलोमीटर तक बढ़ा देंगी।’’ मंत्रालय ने कहा कि ये परियोजनाएं देश की लॉजिस्टिक लागत को कम करने, तेल आयात में 52 करोड़ लीटर की कमी लाने और कार्बन डाई ऑक्साइड उत्सर्जन में 264 करोड़ किलोग्राम की कटौती करने में मदद करेंगी, जो 11 करोड़ पेड़ लगाने के बराबर है।
