हम आपको बता दें कि संभल पुलिस ने ‘नेजा मेला’ समिति से स्पष्ट किया है कि ‘देश को लूटने वाले’ व्यक्ति की याद में आयोजित होने वाले कार्यक्रम की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। पुलिस ने मेले के आयोजन को देशद्रोह बताया है।
उत्तर प्रदेश की योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार के प्रयासों से संभल का सच तो सामने आ ही रहा है साथ ही संभल में विदेशी आक्रांताओं की याद में लगने वाला मेला भी अबसे नहीं लगा करेगा। हम आपको बता दें कि संभल में हर साल मसूद गाजी की याद में मेला लगता था जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में मुसलमान भाग लिया करते थे। मसूद गाजी वही आक्रांता है जिसने सोमनाथ मंदिर को लूटा था। संभल जिले में प्रशासन और पुलिस ने महमूद गजनवी के भांजे और सैन्य कमांडर सैयद सालार मसूद गाजी की याद में वार्षिक ‘नेजा मेले’ के आयोजन को अनुमति देने से इंकार कर दिया है जिसको लेकर राज्य की राजनीति गर्मा गयी है। अखिलेश यादव तो योगी सरकार के इस निर्णय से बौखला गये हैं लेकिन प्रशासन अपने फैसले पर अडिग है।
हम आपको बता दें कि संभल पुलिस ने ‘नेजा मेला’ समिति से स्पष्ट किया है कि ‘देश को लूटने वाले’ व्यक्ति की याद में आयोजित होने वाले कार्यक्रम की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। पुलिस ने मेले के आयोजन को देशद्रोह बताया है। हम आपको बता दें कि ‘नेजा मेला’ कमेटी के सदस्य सोमवार को कोतवाली में अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक (एएसपी) श्रीश चंद्र से मिले, जहां अधिकारी ने साफ शब्दों में सालार मसूद गाजी के नाम पर मेले के आयोजन को अनुमति देने से इनकार कर दिया। उन्होंने कमेटी के लोगों से स्पष्ट किया कि इतिहास गवाह है वह (मसूद गाजी) महमूद गजनवी का सेनापति था, जिसने सोमनाथ को लूटा और कत्लेआम किया। अधिकारी ने बताया कि किसी लुटेरे की याद में किसी भी तरह का मेले का आयोजन नहीं होगा।
वहीं नगर ‘नेजा मेला’ कमेटी के अध्यक्ष शाहिद हुसैन मसूरी ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि यहां पर सैंकड़ों वर्ष से मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है लेकिन इस वर्ष पुलिस अधिकारियों ने यह कहते हुए अनुमति देने से इंकार कर दिया कि सालार मसूद गाजी आक्रांता थे और उनकी याद में मेले का आयोजन नहीं होगा। शाहिद हुसैन ने कहा कि हम वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों से मिलेंगे और उनसे बात करेंगे। इस बीच, समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के फैसले पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा है कि यह सरकार आपसी भाईचारे को खत्म करना चाहती है।
