याचिका में आरोप लगाया गया कि सुर्वे ने 154-मगाथेन विधानसभा क्षेत्र में बड़ी संख्या में मतदाताओं को वादे और संतुष्टि की पेशकश की। इसमें आगे दावा किया गया कि सुर्वे की खुद को वोट देने की अपील ने चुनाव परिणाम को महत्वपूर्ण रूप से बदल दिया और याचिकाकर्ता के वोटों को प्रभावित किया।
