प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुरुवार को ग्रेटर नोएडा स्थित इंडिया एक्सपो मार्ट में उत्तर प्रदेश अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार शो (UPITS) का उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए, प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि वैश्विक उथल-पुथल और अनिश्चितताओं के बावजूद भारत का विकास आकर्षक बना हुआ है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि सरकार ‘मेक इन इंडिया’ पहल के लिए कड़ी मेहनत कर रही है और चिप से लेकर शिपिंग तक, देश में ही निर्माण की योजना बना रही है। इस बात पर ज़ोर देते हुए कि 2,250 से ज़्यादा प्रदर्शक अपने उत्पादों और सेवाओं का प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि रूस इस व्यापार शो का कंट्री पार्टनर है, जो समय की कसौटी पर खरी उतरी इस साझेदारी को और मज़बूत करता है।

वैश्विक व्यवधानों और अनिश्चितताओं के बावजूद, भारत की वृद्धि आकर्षक है। व्यवधान हमें बाधित नहीं करते, बल्कि उन परिस्थितियों में भी, हम नई दिशाएँ तलाशते हैं। इन सभी व्यवधानों के बीच, भारत आने वाले दशकों के लिए अपनी नींव मज़बूत कर रहा है। हमारा संकल्प और मंत्र है आत्मनिर्भर भारत। दूसरों पर निर्भर रहने से ज़्यादा लाचारी और कुछ नहीं हो सकती। कोई देश जितना ज़्यादा दूसरों पर निर्भर रहेगा, उसकी वृद्धि उतनी ही प्रभावित होगी। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार शो 2025 में 2,500 से अधिक प्रदर्शक, 500 विदेशी खरीदार और पांच लाख से अधिक आगंतुक भाग लेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश सेमीकंडक्टर क्षेत्र में देश की आत्मनिर्भरता को मजबूत करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है, जहाँ भारत में निर्मित सभी मोबाइल फोन का 55 प्रतिशत हिस्सा बनता है।

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि हमारे सशस्त्र बलों का लक्ष्य अन्य देशों पर अपनी निर्भरता कम करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे रक्षा बल स्वदेशी चाहते हैं, वे अन्य देशों पर अपनी निर्भरता कम करना चाहते हैं। हम भारत में एक जीवंत रक्षा क्षेत्र विकसित कर रहे हैं। हम एक ऐसा पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र बना रहे हैं जहाँ हमारे हथियारों के हर हिस्से पर ‘मेड इन इंडिया’ लिखा हो। उत्तर प्रदेश इसमें बड़ी भूमिका निभा रहा है। जल्द ही रूस की मदद से स्थापित एक कारखाने में AK-203 राइफल का उत्पादन शुरू होगा। उत्तर प्रदेश में एक रक्षा गलियारा भी स्थापित किया जा रहा है। ब्रह्मोस मिसाइलों सहित कई हथियारों का उत्पादन शुरू हो चुका है।
