वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक और विपक्ष के विरोध पर केंद्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह ने पलटवार किया है। गिरिराज सिंह का तंज कसते हुए कहा कि एक कहावत है ‘100 चूहे खाकर बिल्ली हज को चली’। कांग्रेस पार्टी का इतिहास काला रहा है, आपातकाल से बड़ा कुछ नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि 2013 में चुनाव से पहले उन्होंने लुटियंस दिल्ली में 123 संपत्तियां रातोंरात वक्फ को दे दीं। इससे पता चलता है कि तुष्टिकरण की हदें कौन पार करता है, कौन काला अध्याय लिखता है।
मध्य प्रदेश के मंत्री विश्वास सारंग ने कहा कि अब वक्फ बोर्ड की संपत्ति चंद लोगों के कब्जे में नहीं रहेगी। अगर कोई विवाद होगा तो वह कोर्ट जाएगा। चाहे अखिलेश यादव हों या कोई और विपक्षी नेता, उन्होंने सिर्फ अल्पसंख्यकों को गुमराह किया है और मुसलमानों को बरगलाकर राजनीति करने की कोशिश की है। उपमुख्यमंत्री केशव प्रसाद मौर्य ने कहा कि हमें विश्वास है कि वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक राज्यसभा में भी अवश्य पारित होगा। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में सरकार कांग्रेस सरकार द्वारा भारत को दिए गए नासूर को एक-एक करके ठीक कर रही है। पहले कुछ माफिया किस्म के लोग वक्फ का फायदा उठा रहे थे लेकिन अब इसका लाभ गरीब मुसलमानों को मिलेगा।
राज्यसभा में बृहस्पतिवार को अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्री किरेन रीजीजू ने कहा कि वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक को लेकर पहले सरकार और फिर संसद की संयुक्त समिति (जेपीसी) ने विभिन्न पक्षों से व्यापक विचार विमर्श किया और इसके जरिये वक्फ बोर्ड को समावेशी बनाया गया है। रीजीजू ने उच्च सदन में वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक, 2025 और मुसलमान वक्फ (निरसन) विधेयक को चर्चा एवं पारित करने के लिए रखने के दौरान कही। उन्होंने कहा कि 2006 में 4.9 लाख वक्फ संपत्ति देश में थीं और इनसे कुल आय मात्र 163 करोड़ रुपये की हुई, वहीं 2013 में बदलाव करने के बाद भी आय महज तीन करोड़ रुपये बढ़ी। उन्होंने कहा कि आज देश में कुल 8.72 लाख वक्फ संपत्ति हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि विधेयक में वक्फ संपत्ति को संभालने वाले मुतवल्ली, उसके प्रशासन और उस पर निगरानी का एक प्रावधान है। रीजीजू ने कहा, ‘‘किसी भी तरीके से वक्फ बोर्ड वक्फ संपत्ति का प्रबंधन नहीं करता और उसमें हस्तक्षेप नहीं करता।’’ अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्री ने 2013 में इस कानून में संशोधन के लिए लाये गये विधेयक पर बनी जेपीसी और वर्तमान जेपीसी के कामकाज की तुलना करते हुए कहा कि उसकी तुलना में नयी समिति के सदस्यों की संख्या, बैठकों की संख्या, विचार विमर्श करने वाले राज्यों की संख्या बहुत अधिक है।
