सूत्रों ने दावा किया कि वक्फ (संशोधन) विधेयक कल दोपहर 12 बजे संसद में पेश होने की संभावना है। संसदीय कार्य मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने सोमवार को विधेयक पर सरकार के कदम को उचित ठहराते हुए कहा कि विधेयक तैयार है और उन्होंने सदस्यों से सदन में बहस में भाग लेने की अपील की।

कुछ भी असंवैधानिक नहीं
केंद्रीय मंत्री ने दावा किया कि विधेयक में कुछ भी असंवैधानिक नहीं है, और कहा कि विपक्ष मुसलमानों को गुमराह करने की कोशिश कर रहा है कि वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक पारित होने के बाद उनकी मस्जिदें, कब्रिस्तान और जमीनें जब्त कर ली जाएंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि सीएए विरोधी आंदोलन के दौरान भी यही अफवाहें फैलाई गई थीं, लेकिन इसके नियम लागू होने के एक साल बाद भी किसी मुसलमान की नागरिकता नहीं गई। मंत्री ने कहा कि वह लोकसभा में विधेयक पेश करने की तारीख की घोषणा तभी कर पाएंगे जब इस पर कार्य मंत्रणा समिति द्वारा चर्चा की जाएगी।
अमित शाह का बयान
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने 28 मार्च को कहा कि संसद के चालू बजट सत्र में वक्फ (संशोधन) विधेयक को फिर से पेश किया जाएगा। सत्र का दूसरा चरण 4 अप्रैल को समाप्त होगा और इसमें केवल चार कार्यदिवस शेष हैं। शाह ने “टाइम्स नाउ समिट 2025” में कहा, “हम इसी सत्र में संसद में वक्फ विधेयक पेश करेंगे।” शाह ने कहा कि प्रस्तावित कानून से किसी को डरना नहीं चाहिए क्योंकि नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार संविधान के दायरे में वक्फ अधिनियम में संशोधन कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा, “विपक्ष मुसलमानों को गुमराह कर रहा है। मुसलमानों के किसी भी अधिकार पर अंकुश नहीं लगाया जाएगा। वे बस झूठ पर झूठ बोल रहे हैं।”
हो रहा विरोध
विवादास्पद विधेयक को अगस्त 2024 में संयुक्त संसदीय समिति (जेपीसी) के पास भेजा गया था। विपक्ष और मुस्लिम समूहों के विरोध के बीच इस महीने की शुरुआत में पैनल की 655 पन्नों की रिपोर्ट संसद के दोनों सदनों में पेश की गई थी। कांग्रेस पार्टी वक्फ विधेयक का विरोध कर रही है। पार्टी सांसद मोहम्मद जावेद ने शुक्रवार को इस विधेयक को लेकर भाजपा नीत केंद्र सरकार पर तीखा हमला किया और आरोप लगाया कि यह विधेयक देश को धीरे-धीरे गृहयुद्ध की ओर ले जा रहा है। एआईएमआईएम प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी, जो इस विधेयक के खिलाफ सबसे मुखर आवाजों में से एक रहे हैं, ने शुक्रवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर आरोप लगाया कि वह “हमारी मस्जिदों और दरगाहों को निशाना बनाकर वक्फ विधेयक के जरिए हमारे सीने पर गोलियां चला रहे हैं।”
