कांग्रेस नेता कन्हैया कुमार बिहार के सहरसा में एक दुर्गा मंदिर में पहुंचे थे। कन्हैया कुमार के मंदिर से जाने के बाद कुछ युवाओं ने गंगाजल से इस मंदिर के आंगन को धोया और इसे स्वच्छ किया है। कन्हैया कुमार 25 मार्च की रात को बनगांव पहुंचे थे। पलायन रोको-नौकरी दो पदयात्रा के दौरान उन्होने दुर्गा मंदिर में एक सभा को संबोधित किया था। इस यात्रा का पहला चरण 16 मार्च को पश्चिमी चंपारण से शुरू हुआ है और इस अभियान की समाप्ति 31 मार्च को किशनगंज में होगी।
इसके बाद कुछ स्थानीय युवक 26 मार्च को उस जगह पहुंचे जहां कन्हैया ने भाषण दिया था। इस जगह को लोगों ने गंगाजल से धोया। युवकों का कहना है कि देश द्रोह का आरोप झेल चुके कन्हैया कुमार का विवादित बयान आज भी सभी को याद है।
बता दें कि मंगलवार की देर रात बनगांव के भगवती स्थान पर स्थानीय लोगों व कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने कन्हैया कुमार का पारंपरिक पाग, चादर व माला पहनाकर स्वागत किया था। इसके बाद अगले दिन युवकों ने इस जगह को गंगाजल से धोया। इस मामले पर अब विवाद हो गया है। कांग्रेस का कहना है कि बीजेपी के अलावा अन्य पार्टियों के समर्थकों को अब अछूत माना जा रहा है। वहीं बीजेपी ने कहा कि इस घटना से पता चलता है कि कन्हैया कुमार की राजनीति को लोग एक्सेप्ट नहीं कर रहे है।
इंडियन एक्सप्रेस को दिए बयान में कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता ज्ञान रंजन गुप्ता ने कहा कि हम ये जानना चाहते हैं कि क्या अब सिर्फ आरएसएस और बीजेपी समर्थक ही धार्मिक मानें जाएंगे। अन्य लोगों को अछूता करार दिया जाएगा। ये घटना ऐसी है जिससे भगवान परशुराम के वंशजों का अपमान हुआ है। अब नए दौर में पहुंच चुके हैं जहां गैर बीजेपी दलों व समर्थकों को अछूत माना जा रहा है।
कांग्रेस नेता कन्हैया कुमार ने इस मामले पर कोई बयान देने से इनकार किया है। वहीं भाजपा प्रवक्ता असित नाथ तिवारी का कहना है कि सबसे पहले हमें कन्हैया कुमार के दौरे के बाद उन लोगों की पहचान करनी चाहिए जिन्होंने मंदिर को धोया था। अगर कुमार के दौरे के बाद मंदिर धोया गया है तो ये दर्शाता है कि लोग उन्हें स्वीकार नहीं करते है। वहीं जो लोग इस मंदिर में रोजाना आते जाते हैं उन्होंने भी इस घटना पर हैरानी जताई है।
