कांग्रेस विधायकों ने भाजपा विधायक रूपज्योति कुर्मी के खिलाफ विरोध जताने के लिए काले कपड़े पहनकर विधानसभा में भाग लिया, जिन्होंने पिछले सप्ताह सदन के अंदर विपक्षी विधायकों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया था और उन पर शारीरिक हमला करने की कोशिश की थी।
असम विधानसभा में सोमवार को हंगामा देखने को मिला, जब सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा ने आरोप लगाया कि उपसभापति नुमाल मोमिन पर कांग्रेस विधायक नूरुल हुदा ने सदन के बाहर हमला किया, जिसके कारण सदन की कार्यवाही स्थगित करनी पड़ी। हालांकि, हुदा ने दावा किया कि उन्होंने मोमिन पर हमला नहीं किया, बल्कि विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान सदन का रास्ता रोका। कांग्रेस विधायकों ने भाजपा विधायक रूपज्योति कुर्मी के खिलाफ विरोध जताने के लिए काले कपड़े पहनकर विधानसभा में भाग लिया, जिन्होंने पिछले सप्ताह सदन के अंदर विपक्षी विधायकों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया था और उन पर शारीरिक हमला करने की कोशिश की थी।
असम के मंत्री पीयूष हजारिका ने ट्वीट किया कि कांग्रेस विधायक नूरुल हुदा द्वारा उपसभापति डॉ. नुमाल मोमिन पर शारीरिक हमला न केवल निंदनीय कृत्य है, बल्कि यह विधानसभा और संविधान का सीधा अपमान भी है। असम विधानसभा लोकतंत्र का पवित्र स्थान है, जहां इस तरह का असंवैधानिक व्यवहार पूरी तरह से अस्वीकार्य है। इस तरह की हरकतें असम और भारत के सच्चे मूल्यों के खिलाफ हैं। असम भाजपा अध्यक्ष भाबेश कलिता ने कहा कि आज विधानसभा सत्र में प्रश्नकाल के दौरान हमारे उपसभापति नुमाल मोमिन पर कांग्रेस विधायक नूरुल हुदा ने हमला किया। इससे लोकतंत्र के बारे में अच्छा संदेश नहीं जा रहा है। मैं इसकी निंदा करता हूं। कांग्रेस किसी नियम का पालन नहीं करती। उन्होंने देश को बर्बाद कर दिया और वे लोकतंत्र को भी नष्ट करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।
एआईयूडीएफ विधायक मजीबुर रहमान ने कहा कि डिप्टी स्पीकर नुमाल मोमिन का नूरुल हुदा के बारे में आरोप झूठा और मनगढ़ंत है। यह (भाजपा विधायक) रूपज्योति कुर्मी को बचाने के लिए लाया गया एक मुद्दा है। इससे कुछ देर पहले मोमिन सदन के अंदर बैठे और सत्र में भाग लेते देखे गए। कुछ देर बाद वे सदन से चले गए। स्पीकर बिस्वजीत दैमारी ने कहा कि उन्होंने अधिकारियों से मामले की जांच करने को कहा है। मुख्यमंत्री के आरोपों पर प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए विपक्ष के नेता देवव्रत सैकिया ने मांग की कि पुलिस के बजाय मामले की जांच के लिए सदन की एक समिति गठित की जानी चाहिए, क्योंकि बताया गया है कि घटना विधानसभा भवन के अंदर हुई थी।
