नागपुर । महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेन्द्र फडणवीस ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार बीड जिले के मसजोग गांव के सरपंच संतोष देशमुख की हत्या मामले की पूरी दृढ़ता के साथ जांच कर रही है और अपराध में शामिल लोगों को बख्शा नहीं जायेगा। फडणवीस ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि संतोष देशमुख की हत्या मामले का राजनीतिकरण नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। देशमुख की नौ दिसंबर को उस समय हत्या कर दी गई थी, जब उन्होंने बीड में पवनचक्की परियोजना संचालित करने वाली एक ऊर्जा कंपनी से जबरन वसूली की कोशिश को रोकने का प्रयास किया था।

महाराष्ट्र के मंत्री एवं राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी (राकांपा) के नेता धनंजय मुंडे के सहयोगी वाल्मीक कराड को जबरन वसूली के मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया था। हत्या के मामले में अब तक सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा, ‘‘बीड मामले में सरकार और पुलिस पूरी ताकत और दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ काम कर रही है। दोषियों को बख्शा नहीं जायेगा।’’ उन्होंने कहा कि देशमुख एक लोकप्रिय सरपंच थे लेकिन उनकी मौत मामले का राजनीतिकरण नहीं किया जाना चाहिए।

फडणवीस ने कहा, ‘‘आरोपी भले ही फरार हों, लेकिन कार्रवाई की जा रही है। हम उन लोगों को नहीं बख्श रहे हैं जिन्होंने आरोपियों की मदद की। जांच एजेंसियों को मामले की सही तरीके से जांच करने की अनुमति दी जानी चाहिए।’’ पुलिस ने शनिवार को बताया कि उन्होंने फरार आरोपियों सुदर्शन चंद्रभान घुले (26) और सुधीर सांगले (23) को पुणे से पकड़ लिया है और सिद्धार्थ सोनवणे को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है, जिसकी साजिश में कथित भूमिका जांच के दौरान सामने आई थी। पुलिस ने पहले हत्या के मामले में जयराम माणिक चांगे (21), महेश सखाराम केदार (21), प्रतीक घुले (24) और विष्णु चाटे (45) को गिरफ्तार किया था जबकि एक अन्य आरोपी कृष्णा आंधले अब भी फरार है।
