ट्रेन में एक बैग में मिला लावारिस शिशु, अस्पताल में भर्ती

अस्पताल की मुख्य चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डॉक्टर निर्मला पाठक ने बताया कि शिशु को संभवतः लंबे समय तक बैग में बंद रहने के कारण सांस लेने में कठिनाई हो रही थी लेकिन तत्काल चिकित्सा सहायता मिलने के बाद उसकी परेशानी दूर होने लगी।

मुरादाबाद में पटना-चंडीगढ़ समर स्पेशल ट्रेन के एसी द्वितीय श्रेणी के डिब्बे में एक बैग में एक लावारिस नवजात शिशु पाया गया।
राजकीय रेलवे पुलिस के निरीक्षक मुस्तकीम अली ने बताया कि शनिवार देररात डिब्बे में यात्रियों ने एक बैग में कुछ हलचल देखी जिसके बाद संदेह होने पर उन्होंने रेलवे अधिकारियों को सूचित किया तथा जब बैग के अंदर देखा गया तो उसमें एक नवजात शिशु मिला।

उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘अलर्ट मिलने पर रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) और चाइल्डलाइन के कर्मी हरकत में आये और मुरादाबाद रेलवे स्टेशन पहुंचने पर शिशु को ट्रेन से उतारा गया और उसे स्थानीय अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ उसकी गहन देखभाल कर रहे हैं।’’

उन्होंने पुष्टि की कि नवजात से जुड़ी गर्भनाल को देखने से जाहिर होता है कि शिशु को जन्म के तुरंत बाद छोड़ दिया गया था।
रेलवे अधिकारियों ने कहा कि वे ट्रेन के मार्ग के साथ-साथ स्टेशनों के सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाल रहे हैं ताकि शिशु को छोड़ने के जिम्मेदार व्यक्ति की पहचान की जा सके।
