कर्नल सोफिया कुरैशी पर मध्य प्रदेश के मंत्री कुंवर विजय शाह के बयान पर कांग्रेस सांसद दिग्विजय सिंह ने पलटवार किया है। दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा कि मैं भारतीय सेना के इतने सम्मानित अधिकारी के खिलाफ इस्तेमाल किए गए ऐसे शब्दों की निंदा करता हूं। मैं हाईकोर्ट के आदेश का स्वागत करता हूं, और उनके खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है। लेकिन यह एक कानूनी प्रक्रिया है। भाजपा क्या कार्रवाई कर रही है? यह सिर्फ विजय शाह का बयान नहीं है, बल्कि भाजपा की पूरी ‘ट्रोल आर्मी’ और जो लोग ‘संघी’ मानसिकता से ग्रसित हैं। पूरी भाजपा ऐसी ही मानसिकता से ग्रसित है।
कांग्रेस नेता ने कहा कि मैं पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी और जेपी नड्डा से पूछना चाहता हूं कि क्या यह बयान सही है? अगर सही है तो उन्हें विजय शाह को बचाना चाहिए, नहीं तो उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए। सिंह ने कहा कि मध्यप्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय के स्वतः संज्ञान लेने के कारण शाह के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज होने के बाद भी भाजपा ने उन पर अब तक कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की है जिससे साफ है कि सत्तारूढ़ दल काबीना मंत्री को बचाने में लगा है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा को जवाब देना चाहिए कि क्या वे कर्नल कुरैशी को लेकर शाह के विवादास्पद बयान को सही मानते हैं?
सिंह ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के लिए भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की तारीफ की। उन्होंने कहा,‘‘मैं भारत की सेना और खुफिया एजेंसियों को बधाई देता हूं कि उन्होंने सही लक्ष्यों पर निशाना साधते हुए पहलगाम आतंकी हमले का बदला लिया, लेकिन अब तक पता नहीं चल सका है कि इस आतंकी वारदात में शामिल चार दहशतगर्द कहां हैं? राज्यसभा सांसद ने भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच संघर्ष विराम को लेकर अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के दावों पर सवाल भी उठाए। सिंह ने कहा,‘‘गुजरे बरसों में भारत का जब भी पाकिस्तान से युद्ध हुआ है, हमने बाहरी ताकतों को बीच में पड़कर पंचायत करने की मंजूरी नहीं दी है।’’
