अभियान को केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि बताया है। सूत्रों ने बताया कि भारी मात्रा में गोला-बारूद, डेटोनेटर और विस्फोटक उपकरणों के अलावा 12,000 किलोग्राम अन्य सामग्री जैसे कि दवा और बिजली के उपकरण भी जब्त किए गए।
इस सप्ताह छत्तीसगढ़-तेलंगाना सीमा पर कर्रेगुट्टा पहाड़ी पर 31 माओवादियों को मार गिराया गया जो भारत के सबसे बड़े माओवादी विरोधी अभियान का परिणाम है। सूत्रों ने बताया कि इस अभियान में 450 आईईडी और 40 हथियार भी बरामद किए गए। अभियान को केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि बताया है। सूत्रों ने बताया कि भारी मात्रा में गोला-बारूद, डेटोनेटर और विस्फोटक उपकरणों के अलावा 12,000 किलोग्राम अन्य सामग्री जैसे कि दवा और बिजली के उपकरण भी जब्त किए गए।
बुधवार को एक एक्स पोस्ट में, शाह ने कहा, “एक समय लाल आतंक से शासित पहाड़ी, अब गर्व से तिरंगा लहराती है”, और मार्च 2026 तक माओवाद को खत्म करने के सरकार के संकल्प को रेखांकित किया। शाह ने कहा कि नक्सल मुक्त भारत के संकल्प में एक ऐतिहासिक सफलता प्राप्त करते हुए सुरक्षा बलों ने नक्सलवाद के विरुद्ध अब तक के सबसे बड़े ऑपरेशन में छत्तीसगढ़-तेलंगाना सीमा के कुर्रगुट्टालू पहाड़ (KGH) पर 31 कुख्यात नक्सलियों को मार गिराया। जिस पहाड़ पर कभी लाल आतंक का राज था, वहाँ आज शान से तिरंगा लहरा रहा है। कुर्रगुट्टालू पहाड़ PLGA बटालियन 1, DKSZC, TSC & CRC जैसी बड़ी नक्सल संस्थाओं का एकीकृत मुख्यालय था, जहाँ नक्सल ट्रेनिंग के साथ-साथ रणनीति और हथियार भी बनाए जाते थे।
अमित शाह ने कहा कि नक्सल विरोधी इस सबसे बड़े अभियान को हमारे सुरक्षा बलों ने मात्र 21 दिनों में पूरा किया और मुझे अत्यंत हर्ष है कि इस ऑपरेशन में सुरक्षा बलों में एक भी हानि नहीं हुई। खराब मौसम और दुर्गम पहाड़ी क्षेत्र में भी अपनी बहादुरी और शौर्य से नक्सलियों का सामना करने वाले हमारे CRPF, STF और DRG के जवानों को बधाई देता हूँ। पूरे देश को आप पर गर्व है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में हम नक्सलवाद को जड़ से मिटाने के लिए संकल्पित हैं। मैं देशवासियों को पुनः विश्वास दिलाता हूँ कि 31 मार्च 2026 तक भारत का नक्सलमुक्त होना तय है।
सीआरपीएफ प्रमुख जनरल जीपी सिंह ने कहा कि मारे गए 31 लोगों पर कुल 1.72 करोड़ रुपये का इनाम था और उनकी मौत तथा कर्रेगुट्टा पर फिर से कब्जा माओवाद के ‘अंत की शुरुआत’ है। उन्होंने संवाददाताओं को बताया कि अब तक 28 शवों की पहचान हो चुकी है। उन्होंने कहा, “हमने जो लक्ष्य बनाया था…हमने उससे कहीं अधिक हासिल किया है। हम आश्वस्त और खुश हैं – यह अंत की शुरुआत है, और हम 31 मार्च 2026 तक देश से माओवाद को खत्म करने का लक्ष्य हासिल कर लेंगे।” उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि मारे गए माओवादियों की संख्या बढ़ सकती है।
