रात को राष्ट्र के नाम अपने संबोधन में पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि भारत ने इस्लामाबाद के आतंकवादियों और सैन्य ठिकानों के खिलाफ अपनी जवाबी कार्रवाई को रोक दिया है, इसे समाप्त नहीं किया है। उन्होंने पाकिस्तान को कड़ी चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि भारत किसी भी ‘परमाणु ब्लैकमेल’ को बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि इस्लामाबाद के खिलाफ अभियान स्थगित कर दिए गए हैं और भविष्य उनके व्यवहार पर निर्भर करेगा।

सुबह-सुबह प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पंजाब के आदमपुर एयरबेस पहुंचे। वहां उन्हें वायुसेना के जवानों ने जानकारी दी और जवानों से बातचीत भी की। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा पाकिस्तान को दिए गए सख्त और स्पष्ट संदेश के एक दिन बाद, जम्मू-कश्मीर और सीमावर्ती शहरों में भी संघर्ष विराम व्यवस्था बरकरार रही। सोमवार रात को राष्ट्र के नाम अपने संबोधन में पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि भारत ने इस्लामाबाद के आतंकवादियों और सैन्य ठिकानों के खिलाफ अपनी जवाबी कार्रवाई को रोक दिया है, इसे समाप्त नहीं किया है। उन्होंने पाकिस्तान को कड़ी चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि भारत किसी भी ‘परमाणु ब्लैकमेल’ को बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि इस्लामाबाद के खिलाफ अभियान स्थगित कर दिए गए हैं और भविष्य उनके व्यवहार पर निर्भर करेगा। 

हालांकि, उनके संबोधन के कुछ ही देर बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर के सांबा में 10 से 12 ड्रोन को रोका गया। पंजाब के होशियारपुर प्रशासन ने भी कहा कि विस्फोटों की आवाज सुनी गई। इस बीच, भारत और पाकिस्तान के सैन्य संचालन महानिदेशकों (DGMO) ने सोमवार को शाम करीब 5 बजे हॉटलाइन पर एक-दूसरे से करीब 30 मिनट तक बात की। उन्होंने 10 मई को एक-दूसरे के खिलाफ सभी सैन्य कार्रवाइयों को रोकने के लिए बनी सहमति को कायम रखने पर चर्चा की।

सेना ने कहा कि उन्होंने इस प्रतिबद्धता को जारी रखने पर चर्चा की कि दोनों पक्षों को एक भी गोली नहीं चलानी चाहिए या एक-दूसरे के खिलाफ कोई आक्रामक या शत्रुतापूर्ण कार्रवाई शुरू नहीं करनी चाहिए। भारत और पाकिस्तान ने शनिवार, 10 मई को एक-दूसरे के खिलाफ जमीन, हवा और समुद्र में सभी सैन्य कार्रवाइयों को तत्काल रोकने के लिए सहमति जताई थी। यह संघर्ष विराम चार दिनों की भीषण सीमा पार लड़ाई के बाद हुआ, जो पाकिस्तान में आतंकी ढांचे के खिलाफ भारत के ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के बाद हुआ था।
